    Description

    The Kenya 20 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Kenya in 1996. The note comes in a combination of blue and brown. Its obverse features the nation’s second president, Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi. It also displays Mount Kenya, the coat of arms, and a rose. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a baton, an Olympic medal, the Moi International Sports Complex stadium in Kasarani, and a male runner. The paper bill bears a watermark that reveals a lion’s head and a windowed security thread with a demetallized CBK 20. It measures 135 x 70 mm.
